What are we about?

              Here in Crown Point Indiana we are a bit pressed for open land anymore. Growing up listening to what my parents and grandparents had grown raised and had to do through the years got me thinking. Also reading article after article and book after book about the harms of commercial farming and the pesticides that are used in our foods production started to worry me especially after having children. So with my limited property,money and knowledge of animals or anything that has to do with growing food we set out to grow and sustain as self sufficient as possible. I work full time+ so my time is very limited so i didn't have ample amounts of time to devote to any of my projects and with my twins in tow at all times things tend to take a bit longer as it is. I also realized how long certain things such as fruit trees and bushes take to start producing so i started to get together a game plan so in five years i could meet my goal of producing a large portion of my produce. So three years ago i set out and we haven't looked back yet.
